About the Scheme
Dereham Town Pastors was the first scheme outside Suffolk, bringing the Town Pastors mission to Norfolk.
Our volunteers work in partnership with local police, businesses and community organizations to create a safer, more caring environment in Dereham town centre. Responding to the changing needs of the town and community, Dereham Town Pastors currently operate on Friday afternoons in the market square area.
Apart from being in Norfolk, one unique aspect of Dereham Town Pastors is that they operate in pink hi-viz jackets, and have been known as the “Pink Pasties”!
