Town Pastors Talk...
“I was very anxious before going out for the first time but within minutes I knew it was going to be so rewarding and worthwhile. I loved it, people were so receptive and we were able to diffuse several situations (with God on our side!) that could have got nasty and most likely would have ended in arrests. Can’t wait for my next shift!”
Tracey, Town Pastor
There were four of them, looking for trouble, squaring up to the door-staff, outside the nightclub. We were asked to defuse the situation. Two accepted our offer of choclate and to talk, the other two didn't. But we chatted and offered to call them a taxi and by the time it arrived all four thanked us , so did the door-staff and the police. Mark. Town Pastor
"We were asked three times in one night if our caps were available to purchase or for sale on eBay, and everyone was fascinated to know the significance of the 'fish' logo - not merely a fashion statement but the ageless street symbol of Christians!"

"A message came through to the Town Pastors to pray that there would be no more arrests as all the cells were full to overflowing. We prayed and later recieved word that everything had gone quiet. This continued for a full one and a half hours - long enough for the backlog of arrests to be processed'
Liz, Town Pastor
“I found the verses and supporting prayer points very useful as a focus through the hour! There was a real sense of supporting the pastors as part of a prayer team even though I was praying at home.”
